A definite Yes! We play at parties, weddings, corporate events, rallies, music days and many more.

2. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BOOK MORPHEUS?

Usually the first question we get asked! The answer depends on a number of things such as – how far do we have to travel to the venue, how long will we be playing for, do we need to provide background music, lights, etc. For example, we would charge more to play a venue that took over an hour to travel to, set up well in advance of playing, provide full lighting/sound rig and background music, play for 2 hours or more and finish past midnight than a local gig where we were booked for 2 x 45 minute sets. Morpheus always endeavour to be reasonably and competitively priced so please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.

3. DO MORPHEUS TAKE ‘PROVISIONAL’ BOOKINGS?

Yes. We will hold a date for you for a reasonable period of time although should we have a definite enquiry for the same date, we would always contact you to ascertain whether or not you still wished to the book the band. If so, we would usually require a deposit to secure your booking for that date

4. WHAT DO I GET WHEN I BOOK MORPHEUS?

Primarily, a self contained 4 or 5 piece rock band (guitar(s), bass, keyboards, drums and vocals) providing our own full lighting/sound rig and background music between sets so you won't need to book a DJ or disco! All we require is an adequate area to set up and play in, at least 2 x 13 amp sockets to run power from and, most importantly, an enthusiastic audience!

5. HOW MUCH NOTICE DO MORPHEUS NEED FOR A BOOKING?

As much as possible although we have previously been booked with as little as 24 hours notice given! Check the gig list for availability and if in doubt, call or e-mail us.

6. DO MORPHEUS PLAY SPECIAL REQUESTS?

We make every effort to accommodate these within our sets. All we ask is a bit of notice to give us the opportunity to learn the song(s) and have them rehearsed and ready for the big day. On occasions where we cannot reproduce the original(s) to a decent standard, we can always play these on CD during the evening. Also, the current list of songs on the website is our pub play list at the mo; however we do have a larger repertoire of material that we can play at your function so please feel free to ask when booking the band…including any songs you do not wish us to play! We always aim to make sure that your occasion runs smoothly and goes with a ‘bang’ so please feel free to contact us after the event if you feel we have/have not achieved this.

As far as you wish….although this will reflect in the cost of hiring the band, especially if travelling overseas and having to provide our own accommodation
